On Wednesday, October 31, the Save Medicare and Medicaid Ambulance Tour will make its final stop at Congressman Paul Ryan’s office to deliver oversized postcards collected throughout the state to tell Ryan and Romney to leave their “hands off our Medicaid and Medicare!”
The ambulance rode 2000 miles across Wisconsin alerting communities to the life-and-death impact of the Medicare and Medicaid changes proposed in the House budget written by Congressman Paul Ryan. At each stop was a showdown between supersize puppet villains resembling Romney, Ryan and Thompson planning to slash Medicare/ Medicaid against the elderly, people with disabilities and families. The ambulance arriving in Janesville carries messages to the Congressman from Green Bay, La Crosse, Racine and Wausau.
