  • These are working people who earn just slightly over the poverty line. The majority of them are working parents. Many of them had been kicked off of BadgerCare by Governor Walker in 2014.

  • These working Wisconsinites currently struggle to afford private insurance, and many of them remain uninsured. These Wisconsinites were never supposed to need to purchase private coverage, but because Wisconsin refused to accept the federal funds for BadgerCare they exist in a form of limbo. The solution is to accept the federal funds to ensure these working families can gain coverage they can truly afford!
