Issue Team Training- Jobs, Poverty, Voting & More!

SAVE THE DATE(s)! (note, please RSVP so we can alert you in case of time/location change)

Citizen Action Organizing Cooperative will be hosting multiple trainings for member-owners and friends on how to advance issues together with the organization, other member-owners and our new organizer. This training will introduce you to our "Issue Development Teams" that member-owners can launch to investigate an issue, invite supporters and propose actions to make a difference! Learn how these teams will work, how they can be set up, and how the organizer can help you spread the word!

ADDITIONALLY: Citizen Action of Wisconsin will also brief those present on where our current issue campaigns are and how you can help us direct them! The training on Monday August 10th in New Berlin will focus on Citizen Action's campaigns/coalitions on a Moral Voice to Fight Poverty, our Economic Justice campaigns, our campaign to create family-supporting Green Jobs, and our work on Advancing the Right to Vote.

The training on Thursday August 13th in Glendale will focus on Citizen Action's campaigns/coalitions on Health ReformReducing the Cost of HealthcareMedicaid/BadgerCare, on Preventing Substance Use in Schools, and an encore on Advancing the Right to Vote.

Join whichever training you can! Can't attend? Let us know and we can set up additional trainings in the near future around the region upon request!
