Fast food and retail workers in Milwaukee have announced that they're walking out on strike this Thursday, August 29. They're calling on others to do the same as part of a nationwide day of strikes for higher wages and the right to form a union without employer retaliation.
RSVP to stand with the strikers today!
The "Strike for $15" movement has spread from coast to coast, with more cities participating than ever before. It only makes sense. Since the recession, one out of every two new jobs is low-paying service sector work. This has transformed industries like fast food from part-time summer jobs into full-time work where parents struggle to raise families on $7.25.
Stand up for the future of all workers.
These workers deserve more. Let's stand with these courageous workers in their struggle!
