Things are moving very fast on our campaign to promote referenda across the state on issues like accepting federal funds for BadgerCare and raising the minimum wage. We expect more this evening, so just a quick update now.
- Last night the 18th, in a vote 16-0, the Kenosha Common Council (pop. 99,889) voted to put forward a referendum on accepting the federal funds for BadgerCare!
- This morning, Wood County (pop. 73,959) voted to put forth two referendums for the November election - one on raising the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour and another on accepting the federal funds for BadgerCare!
- Oneida County (pop. 35,689), also this morning, announced a BadgerCare referendum by a vote of 14-6!
