July 30th, leaders from 20 counties sent a request to the Walker Administration: allow us to access federal Medicaid funding you rejected, pointing to a county in Republican-led Ohio that was approved to do so.
Of those 20, 13 counties have voted on a resolution calling for the state to accept available federal Medicaid funding for BadgerCare, or work with counties to provide coverage for them.
Here's where we need your help. We want to reach out to all 72 counties to ensure their voice is included. Please help us and let us know if you know county leaders in your county:
We'll send you a draft version of the Medicaid resolution passed by 13 counties so you can share with your local leaders
The 20 counties: (bold if they passed resolution) Brown, Columbia, Dane, Dunn, Eau Claire, Iowa, Jefferson, Kenosha, La Crosse, Lincoln, Manitowoc, Marathon, Milwaukee, Oneida, Outagamie, Racine, Richland, Sauk, Sheboygan, Winnebago,
