State Supreme Court Fails to Protect Democracy

by Anita Johnson, Organizer

Today Citizen Action of Wisconsin joined the NAACP, Voces de la Frontera, and the League of Women Votes to respond to news that State Supreme Court upheld Wisconsin's Photo ID Law. While the decision is not surprising given the conservative bent of the court, it is disappointing that the right to vote is treated with such disregard by the Court's majority.

Read the NAACP and Voces de la Frontera's response to the decision.

Don't let this decision deter anyone in your community who lacks an ID from voting.  A ruling early this year by U.S. Judge Lynn Adelman ensures that Wisconsin voters will not be required to show ID at the polls August 12th and in November

Remember you can vote early for the Primary Election until August 8, 2014

Find your polling location or to get more information about voting early in your community.
