On Nov 4th 2014, over 2.7 million Wisconsin residents will have a referendum on their local ballot on whether the state should accept federal Medicaid funds for BadgerCare!
Until then Wisconsinites are being forced to pay more to cover fewer people. More dollars put in the pockets of insurance executives, fewer state dollars available for priorities. Families already struggling to make ends meet and afford the basics are now pinched even further.
Right now advisory referenda are on the ballot in the following counties: Iron, La Crosse, Dane, Lincoln, Florence, Douglas, Milwaukee, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Outagamie, Chippewa, Rock, Jefferson, Portage, Wood, Oneida, St Croix, Bayfield and the City of Kenosha; with more soon! We believe the people should make this decision directly.
Wisconsin can accept these federal funds at any time. Add your name to this grassroots campaign and share this page to encourage others to vote YES on the BadgerCare referenda!
