Help Kriss Marion flip Assembly District 51 blue by volunteering NOW!

Citizen Action of Wisconsin endorsed candidate and co-op member Kriss Marion is running in a very tight race in Assembly district 51.  This is an important assembly seat that we can win!  We need volunteers to make this win a reality!  Here are two important ways to get involved!

‘Saturday Lit Drop in Monroe’ – volunteers will be meeting at 292113th Street in Monroe, WI to drop literature on voter’s doors. The Green County Democratic Party and Team Kriss Marion for Wisconsin are hosting a day of socially distanced literature drops throughout the city of Monroe. Masks, gloves, T shirts, buttons, and walk lists will be provided, possibly some snacks as well! Come with walking shoes to disperse fliers for Kriss Marion for Assembly and Biden / Harris throughout a very important city – help us flip Monroe!

Weekly phone banks on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5pm – 7pm, and Saturday from 11am – 1pm. No training required, no personal phone required! This is crucial work to help us identify undecided voters. Assembly District 51 was just identified by CNNalysis as “Leaning Blue” – but we know the Republicans are going to throw hundreds of thousands into this race in the last 6 weeks and we can’t afford to lose momentum. Join us and phone bank for Kriss to help flip the 51st blue!  Contact Victoria Stewart at [email protected] for more information on joining phone banking efforts!

“Taking Back The ‘Burbs” Battleground Wisconsin Podcast

We discuss the grossly insufficient indictment brought against only one of the Louisville police officers who killed Breonna Taylor. We welcome Citizen Action president Mark Thomsen to educate our listeners about new state legislation (LRB-6434/2) providing a blanket COVID-19 liability shield for businesses and how you can fight it. We continue our interviews with state legislative candidates talking with Deb Andraca and Sara Rodriguez who are making serious challenges to GOP assembly members in the Milwaukee suburbs. They tell us why these Republican gerrymandered districts are changing and ready to elect Democrats this year.
