We need more folks in this movement who are in the community, who look like us, who come from the working class and aren’t billionaires, who are ready to build and co-govern with us!

If you are interested in being part of the Movement Politics program, including (but not limited to) running for office, running campaigns, or changing the way politics works AND looks like in Wisconsin, let us know!

Citizen Action North Side Rising Organizing Coop prepares for the influx of green jobs coming following passage of the Inflation Reduction Act.

North Side Rising is ready to take advantage of the opportunities at hand to create a skilled green workforce to address climate change while putting our community back to work at family supporting jobs. We are building back and better so we are talking about the building trades. Members Luis Degadillo, Will Pritchard (organizer), Jerry Harris, Anthony Williams and Willie Wilson are part of the team working to create a job training center with other community organizations. Federal and state dollars are available to include those who have been excluded from the best paying jobs of the future.  We can help save our earth by training a future workforce of Milwaukee residents to be her stewards.  We can save our communities with jobs that support families.
