Breaking News: Citizen Action launches Supreme Court “deep canvass” voter contact program this week!

Citizen Action launched our “deep canvass” direct voter contact program this week!

Citizen Action is testing effective messages that are proven to move undecided voters to our candidates, address the lies told by the other side, and motivate progressive voters to get out and vote!

But we need your support to reach enough voters to turn the tide against the hatred and division being unleashed by the right-wing candidates.  If you agree that we must talk to every voter we can reach, please DONATE TODAY to Citizen Actions. Supreme Court Action Fund.

The lion’s share of resources in the pivotal Wisconsin Supreme Court race will go to television ads and other paid communication. While this is necessary, a growing body of evidence shows that the best way to persuade  voters who will be confused by the hatred and lies in right wing propaganda is deeper conversations with voters.

We are currently hiring our first full time “deep canvass” organizer and need your help TODAY so we can hire more full time “deep canvass” organizers in other Wisconsin cities! These organizers will knock doors, make phone calls, and train our volunteers. They are critical to our program hitting our voter contact goals!

We are training our organizing staff and testing effective messages that are proven to move undecided voters to our candidates, address the lies told by the other side, and motivate progressive voters to get out and vote! We are also preparing to hire our first full time “deep canvass” organizer in Eau Claire!

But we need your support TODAY to build the campaign resources we need.

Volunteer with Citizen Action’s Deep Canvass Phone Bank.

it’s time for Citizen Action members and volunteers to hit the doors to talk to voters so we can win this historic election! This cycle we’ll be deep canvass phone banking every Monday at 5pm starting February 27th and Saturday at 9am starting March 4th!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Driftless Area Meet & Greet in La Crosse! It was a great event and I’m so happy I got to meet so many passionate progressives in the area. If you live too far from La Crosse, don’t feel left out. I’m planning on holding similar events throughout the region.

Finally, people of Wisconsin are having to choose paying rent over receiving healthcare. Citizen Action of WI believes healthcare should be a basic human right. One of the best ways to influence change is to have stories to share with legislators. We know people are straddled with medical debt and face an increasing denial of care from insurance companies. If you have a medical debt or claim denial story to share, please email me, Kristie Tweed, at [email protected] or call 608-317-1331

We welcome Citizen Action Northcentral Co-op organizer Joel Lewis to discuss the door canvass in Wausau this Sunday from 10am – 2pm at the Labor Temple. We also discuss the City of Wausau Climate Action planning process.
