DONATE today to Citizen Action’s 2023 Supreme Court Action Fund

After dramatic midterm elections where Democrats gained substantial momentum, Wisconsin has turned its attention to next spring’s historic state Supreme Court race in which the ideological tilt of the court is up for grabs. Since we launched the 2023 Supreme Court Action Fund a new conservative candidate has entered the race, Waukesha County Circuit Judge Jennifer Dorow. This election is wide open and we MUST win it! We need your help NOW to make it happen.

Citizen Action launched our NEW 2023 Supreme Court Action Fund a few weeks ago, and the support from our members has been tremendous.

But we need more support to build the campaign resources we need. We need you to donate NOW to this special fund that supports our “Deep Canvass” Field Program, which talks one-on-one with the targeted voters who will decide the election.

Attend Citizen Action’s State Supreme Court Forum, January 11th, 7pm

We will be hosting a virtual State Supreme Court forum on January 11th, 2023 at 7pm for all Democratic and progressive State Supreme Court candidates!

The State Supreme Court is the next key race in getting Wisconsin back on track, including stronger and more representative maps and ensuring fair voting practices around the state.

When we win this race in 2023, we will FLIP the makeup of the court to a liberal, pro-voting rights, anti-gerrymandering majority! LET’S DO THIS!

Citizen Action in the News

Citizen Action’s Executive Director Robert Kraig was on the Earl Ingram Show this week discussing Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos’ iron grip on the state’s agenda, the State Supreme Court race, legislative gerrymandering, and other breaking state news.

Listen to “Fed Up” Battleground Wisconsin Podcast

We start by reflecting on some rare good news from Washington, the historic signing this week by President Biden of the Baldwin-Collins marriage equality bill, the Respect for Marriage Act. We then turn to the storm clouds looming over the next two years, the Party of Trump’s dysfunction on a spending bill needed to keep the Federal Government open. Is this a harbinger of things once the GOP takes control of the House of Representatives? Next, we welcome Dr. Micheal Rosen to discuss the Federal Reserve Board’s decision to raise interest rates, likely imperiling economic gains made by workers the last few years. Is there a better way to reduce inflation?  Michael also predicts the winner of Sunday’s World Cup Final, debriefs the tournament, and says goodbye to a “greatest generation” of players likely appearing in their last World Cup.
